Take Advantage of All Inclusive Holidays in Turkey

Posted on March 9th, 2012

Holidaying can be quite an expensive experience, especially if you want to spend your holidays at coastal resorts. Is your budget stopping you from having exclusive holidays abroad somewhere near the sea? Then you should seriously look into buying an all-inclusive travel package to Turkey!

Holidaying abroad at coastal resorts is a great way to get away from everyday hustle and bustle. Turkey has been a popular holiday destination for millions of tourists lately, mostly due to their cheap holidays packages and various other reasons. Even though many travel agencies claim that travelling to countries like Tunisia and Egypt are safe at the moment, I disagree with that. Despite the fact that the “Jasmine Revolution” has already passed by and public unrests have halted, I’d still advise you to stay away from holidaying there. Fortunately Turkey has not had any revolutions lately and there hasn’t been a tourist decline to this destination.

Majority of hotels in Turkey stick to the all-inclusive packages that usually include 3-times per day meals and drinks included in the package cost. Thanks to these all-inclusive offers from hotels, cheap holidays in Turkey are possible! Turkey is indeed becoming the most popular place for those going on cheap holidays, but this certainly does not mean you will have a low quality experience. When choosing your holidays in Turkey destination, consider visiting Antalya. This region has some spectacular Mediterranean beaches and is considered to be one of the best holidaying places in the whole country. You will get a chance to spend a relaxing and calming time enjoying the local warm climate!

Sunbathing the whole time throughout your holidays in Turkey can get quite boring, not even mentioning that it is not healthy to get too much sun exposure, so you are more than welcome to explore some of the local attractions. Turkey is a country that has a very rich and interesting history. There are countless of museums and historical sites for you to visit. If you will be staying around Antalya, make sure you visit Hierapolis & Pamukkale. It is a world heritage site and is worth a visit, simply for the excellent views you will witness! The travelling distance from Antalya center is pretty lengthy, so you might want to ask at your hotel where you could sign up for a tour. Entry fee is around 70 TL, which is about $40, but trust me, it’s worth every penny!

If you fancy shopping, you could opt in for an Istanbul shopping tour. Turkish people are traders in their blood, so do not agree to the first price they will offer. If your travel agency has not told you about that, always make sure you trade the prices down, as a matter of fact, all prices they say are overpriced by at least 30%, so keep that in mind when shopping on your holidays in Turkey.
